Is real money used for bidding?

No. Bidding happens entirely in points. Each team is allocated equal starting points (e.g. 1,000 or 10,000) and bids are deducted from this points budget. The only real money on the platform is your organizer subscription, paid securely via Razorpay.

Can I run my auction with custom team size and points?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can configure points per team, squad size (11, 13, 15 or a custom cap), bid increment rules, and optional timer fields for display or future use. Auction Champion adapts to your tournament rules — not the other way around.

Question 3

How do players register for the auction?

Accepted Answer

Generate a public registration link from your dashboard and share it on WhatsApp, Instagram or email. Players fill a simple mobile-friendly form (name, age, photo, position, contact). You then approve registrations from the dashboard.

How do team owners pay registration fees?

Accepted Answer

Player registration fees are organizer-managed and offline (UPI, bank transfer, cash, etc.). The platform does not take a cut. You collect the payment directly and mark the player as 'Paid' in the dashboard. Your money stays your money.

Does the platform support icon players?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Icon players are fully optional, configured per tournament. Pre-assign one icon player per team before the auction starts. Icons skip bidding entirely, don't consume points from the team budget, and count as a bonus addition to the squad.

Can spectators watch the live auction?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every auction has a public spectator link with no login required. Spectators see the player on the block, the live bid feed, team budgets and rosters in real time — perfect for sharing with players, sponsors and fans.

What happens to disconnected team owners during bidding?

Accepted Answer

Auction Champion is reconnect-safe. If a team owner momentarily loses internet, they can rejoin the auction room and the platform syncs the full state instantly — current player, latest bids, points balance and roster — without missing a beat.

Will I get a report after the auction ends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform automatically generates a complete auction report at the end — team rosters (including icon players), points spent per team, unsold players list, summary statistics — available in PDF, Excel and CSV formats. You can download or share instantly.
